With the 1st Beyond Boundaries programme coming to an end the researchers are already looking for the next crowd of physically disabled people, to trek across Africa.
Would you be willing to humiliate yourself in the name of entertainment, or do you have more self respect.
In the name of pure humiliation I would do it, then again if the world is watching hell, even better!
Me? Um ... no. I am so lazy, and I would never humiliate myself liek this. Not even if you would offer me a lot of money.
Biko you are shameless smile. Insele I'm not even sure they are getting paid, no one has mentioned money, for that I'd want a good £20,000 for the snake risk alone.
what do you have to do on this show?
i think it would be a challenge if nothing else
I'd be there - for my own personal experiences, (fitness, interaction with others and adventures)! and hey, if the world enjoyed it, too, well that's cool, also!
LP08.Basically you endure harsh conditions, bad food, illness, aggravation and constant moaning from your fellow travellers; While dragging your disabled backside over inaccesible terrain, up near vetical Volcanoes, and across snake infested swamps; just to prove that phyisically disabled people can do this and succeed in conditions that would give the SAS a few sleepless nights.I must warn you LP, this whole exercise seems to be very exploitative and its obvious that certain people have been chosen deliberately for their ability to cause conflict within the group. It's almost like a soap opera the way they give you a tantalizing glimpse of next weeks action, they know you will definately tune in to see who gets the boot, or who comes down with a nasty tropical illness, its reality TV of the worst kind.
Hell ya, nothing like shitting or puking your brains out in front of the hole freaking world.
Well, I might if they gave me money for it.
